Super moist Corn Bread

Best Cornbread Ever

Description:
moist and delicious!

Directions:
1/2 c butter or margarine
ADD and STIR well: 2/3 c sugar
Blend in: 2 well beaten eggs
Combine and ADD:
1 c buttermilk (1 c milk with 1T vinegar)
1/2 tsp soda
Add and Stir: 1 c cornmeal
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
Put in greased 8 in square pan. Bake 375 for 30 min.

I tried this one and it was REALLY good. I did add 1/2 tsp baking powder to half of it to see the difference. It made it a lot more fluffy, but a bit more crumbly. My family liked it better with the powder; the texture really was a lot better.
