This looks like it doesn't make very much but it fed my whole family with 3 extra and they cook really fast.
* 1 and 3/4 cups flour
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 Tablespoon sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 3 beaten egg yolks
* 1 and 3/4 cups milk
* 1/2 cup vegtable oil
* 3 egg whites - beaten stiffly (use blender)
Mix all dry ingredients. Combine yolks and milk. Stir into dry ingredients. Stir in oil and mix. GENTLY fold in beaten egg whites, do not over mix.

I ran out of flower in my bucket and didn't want to dig out the new bag so I used half flower and half wheat germ. They were really good, you just have to cook them for longer. They look brown when they are done, almost like it's burnt on the edges, but they taste great. Jared likes them better.
You could probably do half corn flower or all whole wheat too.
